How Trove Produce works

Trove Produce is a simple community noticeboard for fresh, local produce. It connects backyard growers, hobby farmers and small suppliers with people in their postcode who want fresh local food.

We're not a giant marketplace, a delivery service, or a payment processor. We're a friendly local board to help neighbours share excess fruit, veg, eggs, herbs, honey and flowers.

1. Open the Posts tab.
2. Enter your postcode to see what's available nearby.
3. Tap any post to see details, photos and contact options.
4. Message the supplier on WhatsApp to arrange pickup.

1. Tap + Post produce from the Posts page.
2. Sign in (it's free and quick).
3. Add a title, category, postcode, quantity and a photo if you can.
4. Choose how long you'd like the listing to stay live (up to 30 days).
5. Add your WhatsApp number so buyers can reach you.

If you grow regularly — eggs every week, seasonal fruit, herbs, honey, seedlings — create a Supplier profile. Buyers will see a dedicated page with everything you offer, instead of single one-off posts.

Most suppliers use WhatsApp because it is simple for arranging local pickup. Some suppliers may also choose to display a phone number, email, website or social-media details. WhatsApp remains the main contact option on produce posts.

Payment is arranged directly between buyer and supplier. Many local pickups use cash, bank transfer, or another method both people agree on. Trove Produce does not process payments and does not handle refunds or delivery guarantees.

Tap Report this post on any listing's detail page. Our team reviews reports and can remove posts or accounts that breach the community rules.

Seafood is coming soon as a separate program for licensed suppliers only. We don't currently allow general seafood listings.
